AutoCAD Architecture and AutoCAD MEP Forums Upgraded
As part of the AUGI Product Communities, forums play an integral part for members to engage in discussion and debate on specific Autodesk products.
This time, we are keeping the 2007 forums where they are and adding a new forum for the 2008 versions of ACA and AMEP as well as rearranging specific elements such as The Watering Hole. One special feature worth highlighting is the AutoCAD Architecture thread which most recently is conducting a poll on whether users would like Autodesk to add an option for different hatches on opposite sides of same wall component.

Autodesk unveils the Sustainability Analysis Dashboard for building designers
The sustainability dashboard concept has the potential to facilitate sustainable design and LEED certification by allowing designers to immediately realise the environmental effect of their design decisions.
The program would allow architects to continually calculate key factors such as energy and water usage, storm water runoff, recycled material content, carbon footprint, and daylighting.
Read more about Dashboard here and watch a video offering an overview of the new technology recently unveiled at Greenbuild 2007 in Chicago.
