Dear [first name],
Welcome to the September issue of Manufacturing News, the newsletter designed especially for professionals in mechanical engineering, engineering design, process engineering and electrical engineering.
With competition creeping through every aspect of expanding economies, a greater number of companies are beginning to look for that technology edge. With current advances in digital prototyping, engineers and designers are able to create, validate, optimise, and manage designs from the conceptual design phase through the manufacturing process. By using sharing and collaboration tools such as Freewheel, manufacturers are also able to share data and images across platforms and devices. Read and learn more about how to achieve this in the sections below.
Also In this issue we have details about Autodesk University Online, enhanced Microsoft Vista support, impending improvements to Inventor, some useful tips and tricks and Autodesk Inventor design contest winners, as well as a great customer story featuring Cleveland-based Eaton Corp.
If you would like to share your comments on how we can improve this newsletter, please send them to asean.marketing@mail.autodesk.com.
Happy Reading!
