Bringing Engineering Knowledge to the Point of Sale - Introducing Autodesk Intent
In today's manufacturing environment, companies are under constant
pressure to accelerate product development cycles and introduce new &
innovative products whilst staying ahead of the competition.
By efficiently managing your development rules, processes and databases,
your company can shorten its development cycles and get your products to
market faster. Autodesk Intent is a knowledge and rules -based solution
that enables companies to capture, manage and re-use their most valuable
asset - their knowledge and experience. Product development and process
rules are then made easily accessible to the organisation's supply
chain.
Autodesk Intent provides an enterprise wide solution to bring all this
information together whilst easily integrating with your CAD authoring
tools for 2D schematics and 3D models and external engineering
applications.
Engineering-intensive processes are streamlined, compressing sales
cycles and simplifying order management and fulfilment. The result? A
transfer of knowledge from your own expert-level resources to the point
of sale eliminating bottlenecks, increasing responsiveness,
accelerating your time to market and reducing your skill shortage
problems.
Autodesk Intent applications can be used by sales teams, distributors,
manufacturing, order management personnel, product engineers, and
