Carl Bass

This month, Carl Bass, our ex-chief operating officer, steps into Carol Bartz's shoes as president and chief executive officer. Ms Carol Bartz, who has served as CEO since April 1992, will become the company's first Executive Chairman of the Board.

Carl's deep knowledge of the industry and the business, as well as a keen understanding of our customers and the demands they face every day, will ensure that we continue to provide products and services that meet your stringent and specific requirements.

Carol Bartz

As one who quotes from Tom Friedman's national bestseller, "The World is Flat", Carol is focusing her energies on emerging markets such as China and India. So you can be sure no matter where in the world you, your business partners or customers are located, Autodesk can help you be a winner in today's "flat" global market.

On the local scene, we continue to work with our channel partners to bring you seminars and conferences to show you the unbelievable enhancements to our latest releases. So please check out the Focus 2007 Events, and sign up for the Autodesk Solution Days in ASEAN.

Warmest regards,
Lee-Na

Building Solutions
Lott + Barber Architects counts on Autodesk® Revit® Building software to design better buildings, impress clients, and generate project documentation faster and more accurately than ever.

"Two years ago, a client challenged us to produce something exciting. Naturally, we accepted the challenge. Using Autodesk Revit Building for the very first time, we designed a new entrance for a major Savannah, Georgia, hospital and created an animated 3D walkthrough—set to music. The clients were so impressed that they approved the design concept in one meeting."
