Be drawn to this very special event
|
The morning of this not to be missed event will focus
on key strategic issues facing Australian industries at
a time of global political, economic and environmental
change. The design, engineering, and manufacturing
industries in Australia are all impacted by these issues
and by the response of business and government.
Keynote speakers from Federal and State
Governments, Engineers Australia and Autodesk will
address topics including innovation, skills training,
design productivity, sustainability and competitiveness
in the current economic environment.
See how to gain the competitive edge
The Telecom, Utilities, Government and Civil
industry afternoon stream will focus on how you
gain comprehensive utility design and management
productivity tools with Autodesk 2010 software that will
help you visualise, simulate, and analyse a range of
best-case scenarios for your electric, gas, and water
networks.
See the big picture and make better decisions by
integrating design, geographic information system
(GIS), and customer information to quickly understand
the location and status of your assets. Improve
efficiency and data quality by leveraging detailed
|
design information throughout your organisation,
reducing manual input and conversion processes that
decrease accuracy. Improve maintenance response
time and customer satisfaction by providing your field
force with the information that they need to visualise
and resolve service requests quickly.
MidCoast Water's Brendan Soustal will demonstrate
how companies can find design solutions to get greater
productivity and reduce costs in a tough environment.
View demonstrations on intelligent, interoperable
solutions such as AutoCAD® Map 3D®, Autodesk
Topobase™, Autodesk Civil 3D 2010 and Autodesk
MapGuide® Enterprise 2010.
